The Wildscapes Landscapes Team has been an integral part of the Sheffield Wildlife Trust for over 10 years and has an established track record in designing and delivering open space improvements, often working in partnership with other regeneration bodies and the community.
The Landscape team has developed an extensive and unique understanding of bringing sustainable improvements to urban green spaces: from large-scale recreation grounds, to local community gardens, from housing development landscapes to the innovative use of the environment for children's play. The Team works closely with SWT's other departments to bring additional expertise to specific projects.
We currently have two senior landscape architects and a technician working on a wide variety of projects across Sheffield, South Yorkshire and beyond and we are now seeking to expand our client base.
The landscape team operates as a social enterprise - which means that we are commited to delivering social and environmental benefits alongside generating income to support other SWT staff and key projects.
