A recent report commented upon by the BBC suggests that businesses profit from investing in nature and need to take a more active role in protecting biodiversity and ecosystems in order to protect their business growth. Read more here.

Sheffield Forgemasters

Diamond member Sheffield Forgemasters is working with the Wildlife Trust to protect and improve the River Don as it flows through their Brightside Lane site, on the east of the city. Forgemasters take their environmental responsibilities seriously, as Chief Executive Graham Honeyman explains,

“We are keen to demonstrate that sensitive industrial practices can be highly beneficial to local wildlife habitats and ecosystems, and we’re committed to improving biodiversity across our entire 64 acres.

We’ve relied heavily on the expertise of the Wildlife Trust to improve our own land, so we’re very pleased to be their first Gold Member – and support them in their valuable work across the region.”
