Community Work Days

Community Work Days are an opportunity to join one of our projects, spending the day doing practical conservation work. Sheffield Wildlife Trust runs a whole host of events all over the city, aimed at helping everyone get the most out of their local environment. All our events are free of charge, though you may have to ring to book in advance for some of them. A program of our latest events is available on the website or on request by emailing volunteering@wildsheffield.com.

Event Volunteers

SWT is fortunate enough to be invited to several local fayres and fetes each year across Sheffield and Rotherham. As an event volunteer you will be a vital member of a small team attending these events and assisting in promoting the work of Sheffield Wildlife Trust as well as meeting new people and selling merchandise. Most of these events take place at weekends.

Fundraising Volunteers

Could you help raise vital funds for Sheffield Wildlife Trust? We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated people to take part in fundraising activities throughout the year. For example, holding a coffee morning, taking collection boxes to local shops, getting your company involved in raising funds, researching outlets for sale of Trust merchandise, etc.

Reserve Advisory Group Meetings

Reserve advisory groups are regular meetings of local residents and other interested groups, who meet to discuss and influence how Sheffield Wildlife Trust manages each of its nature reserves. You can go along and find out more about how the Trust manages each reserve, hear the issues and be part of the decision making processes. For further information contact Nature Reserves Manager on: 0114 263 4335.
