Forest Schools: Foundation Stage, KS1 – KS4

Children are given the opportunity to gain independence, self esteem and confidence. Children experience and learn about their local natural environment and develop their practical skills through a range of hands on tasks while having fun in a relaxed and safe outdoor setting. First aid cover is provided by Sheffield Wildlife Trust.

Activities can include: shelter building/cooking on a campfire/making wooden tools/mini beast hunting/bulb planting/scavenger hunts. All sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of your class.

“Well Prepared, well resourced, well delivered. All children had a great time and gained a lot from the sessions. They found curiosity, independence and voice. Thank you.” Y1 Teacher at Wharncliffe Side Primary School, Sheffield
