Diamond member Sheffield Forgemasters is working with the Wildlife Trust to protect and improve the River Don as it flows through their Brightside Lane site, on the east of the city. Forgemasters take their environmental responsibilities seriously, as Chief Executive Graham Honeyman explains,

Low Ash Riding School
 

Bronze member Low Ash Riding School are based at Low Ash Farm, a working dairy farm in Worral overlooking the Loxley valley. The Riding School has a charity fundraising section called ‘Dream Makers’ which nominates a charity each year and runs organised events at the farm, with all profits going to the nominated charity. Last year (2010) we were their nominated charity. They organised an Easter egg hunt, a medieval day (with re-enactments and a hog roast), a pie and peas supper and a summer cream tea event, each with a ticket price and a separate raffle in aid of SWT. In all, they raised around £3000 for us last year and were given complimentary corporate membership in appreciation of their fantastic support.
