See our promotional film here about Wild at Heart Social Prescribing and Nature Connectedness training sessions
We have been offering half-day training sessions to help Link Workers and Social Prescribers to feel confident when promoting Green Social Prescribing opportunities to their clients or patients, or might be considering how to incorporate connection with nature into their conversations to support people. The aim is to help people to understand the Green Prescribing landscape and also to understand how they can use Nature Connectedness within their own interactions with clients.
Sessions have been delivered both face to face and online, and in a variety of venues across South Yorkshire – and we hope to secure further funding to roll our more training throughout 2024-25 – watch this space!
Topics covered:
Throughout each session we gave opportunities for questions and discussion of topics. These were a great opportunity for people to talk through their ideas and test out their learning as we progress through the topics. Sometimes we find new topics to include which we build into the subsequent training sessions.
