About the role
This role is interesting and varied, offering a great opportunity to expand Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust’s growing Wildscapes’ Ecology Service. You’ll provide leadership as well as expert technical guidance, working across a wide range of ecological services including: Protected Species Surveys, PEAs, EIAs, Licensing, Ecological Clerk of Works, Biodiversity Net Gain Assessments – for diverse projects on our Nature Reserves, restoring important habitats, through to supporting Housing Developments or infrastructure projects in the region.
The experience and enthusiasm you bring will enable you to lead and develop the team, inspiring them to deliver a high quality service. Working with our Business Development Manager you will bring your ecological expertise to deliver contracts from beginning to end, including developing client relationships and work streams, co-ordinating tenders, providing project management and ensuring high standards.
Your ecological expertise will be supported by experience of carrying out Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, habitat surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments and leading on protected species surveys.
You will also have developed strong project management skills and experience of running contracts and managing multiple teams on-site to high standards.
