Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust are delighted to present our calendar for 2023!
Featuring stunning full colour photographs of local wildlife and nature from across Sheffield & Rotherham, the calendar includes 13 incredible images selected by a panel of expert judges from our recent wildlife photography competition.
Stunning local wildlife photographs
Over 200 entries were received for our inaugural local wildlife photography competition and the quality on offer was exceptional. The Trust would like to place on record our thanks to everybody who took part. View the online exhibition here!
Winners were announced by popular Wildlife Photographer Guy Badham at the Trust’s AGM on Thursday evening. Twelve of the incredible photographs won a place adorning particular months of the calendar, with a 13th chosen as the calendar’s cover image.
Judges picked out three of the photographs for special praise with bonus prizes kindly donated by Guy Badham and Waitrose & Partners, Ecclesall Road.

The calendar is A4 size in landscape orientation when closed, then opens up to A3 (297x420mm / 11.7 x 16.5″) with a large impressive photograph accompanied by a practical full-month grid view below.
Also featured is a brief guide to local nature reserves, plus facts about each of the featured species and what to look out for in nature each month!
