COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information

Here at Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust we have been affected by Covid-19 like everyone else, but we are still working as well as we can with most of us now home working.

Many of our nature reserves are very accessible to local people and remain open with free access. In the coming weeks we’ll be carrying out more work outdoors in line with government guidelines. All our staff will be wearing logo’d coats and driving our logo’d vehicles.

If you are visiting one of our nature reserves then please enjoy them responsibly:

  • Wash your hands before and after visiting reserves.
  • Remember the 2m physical distance rule.
  • Respect other people and of course respect wildlife.
  • Absolutely no BBQs or fires.

If you spot anything you are concerned about on site let us or the police know, or if you spot any amazing wildlife then we’d love to see your pictures or you can help contribute to wildlife conservation by submitting your nature sightings.
