End the year with the scent of pine, the crackle of fire, and the quiet joy of being outside in nature.
As you finish the school year, head outdoors for a relaxed, nature-based celebration – surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the sounds of nature.
You’ll enjoy:
A Change of Scenery We’ll spend half a day in a woodland setting – no desks, no screens, just fresh air and open space. It’s a chance to slow down and enjoy being outside together.
Nature Decorations We’ll gather natural materials like leaves, twigs, and pinecones to create simple, seasonal decorations. It’s a hands-on way to notice the details of the environment and get creative with what we find.
Campfire Treats There’ll be a small campfire where we can toast marshmallows or enjoy other simple snacks. It’s a great moment to sit together, chat, and reflect on the year.
Time to Explore There will be time for quiet walks, nature spotting, or just sitting and listening. Whether it’s birdsong or the rustle of leaves, we’ll take time to notice what’s around us.
A Moment to Reflect We’ll take a few minutes to think back on the year – what you’ve learnt, what you’ve enjoyed, and what you’re proud of. It’s a gentle way to mark the end of the school year.
