Visit a working dairy farm and find out what daily life looks like on the farm through an informative tour and a pupil-led ‘Interview with a Farmer’ activity. Gain an understanding of different food supply chains; from a hands on milking experience with Molly the Cow, making (and tasting!) your own butter, through to the chance to buy and enjoy an ice cream made from the milk produced by the cows you will meet. In addition to assistance with travel costs for up to 30 children, you will also receive a free resources kit including a video to prepare your class for the session before your visit.
