We are thrilled to host our Annual General Meeting on Thursday 28th September at the Dorothy Fleming Lecture Theatre, Sheffield Hallam University, from 6pm.
The evening is our opportunity to celebrate all the wonderful things we have achieved for nature and wildlife together, and to say a huge thank you to you, for all your support.
Liz Ballard, Chief Executive of Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, will give an annual update on the Trust’s work, followed by a talk from guest speaker Chris Tomson, Farm Conservation Advisor and Trustee of Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust.
Passionate about the countryside, Chris will explore nature-friendly farming principles, and the belief that we can have a sustainable countryside that enhances the environment, whilst also being efficient at producing food and other products.
There will also be chance to view the short-listed entries from our wildlife photography competition, and the winners will be announced . The winners of the competition will feature in our Trust Calendar 2024, which will be on sale on the evening.
There will be chance to talk to staff, hear updates about our nature reserves, community projects and volunteering highlights.
Members of the Trust can also have their say about how the charity is run at the Annual General Meeting.
This event is free to attend but as a charity your support really does make a difference. From protecting wildlife, to helping people connect with nature and each other, every penny helps. Thank you.
The event will be held at the Dorothy Fleming Lecture Theatre in the Charles Building, Sheffield Hallam City Campus.
