Make a lasting contribution to the environment by helping restore the forestry around Midhope reservoir to a native woodland.
As part of long term habitat improvement work underway, we will focus on removal of rhodedendron and planting of native deciduous trees.
Our work days are a great way of getting out in nature and learning more about your local landscape, and the wildlife it supports.
Everyone works at a pace that is suited to them and all levels of knowledge and ability are welcome.
There is the option to meet at Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust yard if you would like a lift to the site or to meet on site.
Yard – 08:50 The large red gates at 26 Robinson Road S2 5QW
On site – 09:30 Midhope layby: Mortimer Road; Sheffield S36 4GR
