Finding the nests of ground-nesting bumblebees is incredibly difficult, leaving major gaps in our understanding of them.
Now researchers from the University of Sheffield are testing an innovative new tracking system at Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust’s Ughill Farm, which could transform how we study these remarkable insects.
