Good news for Hollins Busk16 July, 2020 18 June, 2024 An application for 85 homes a Hollin Busk – an area of open countryside between Stocksbridge and Deepcar was turned down by SCC Planning Committee yesterday. SRWT had submitted four objections to this proposal and spoke at the committee meeting along with Friends of Hollin Busk and other local representatives. We objected because the land is protected countryside and not allocated for housing and we have concerns about impacts on the Fox Glen Local Wildlife Site, especially from an outline application that lacks detail, and a lack of detailed mitigation for red and amber listed bird species using the site.
