Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust delivers a range of activities for children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We come in to contact with many people as we undertake our day to day work right across the Trust – from responding to customer enquiries, recruiting members, helping the public on site, delivering activities or supporting a placement student or volunteer. Therefore, we have implemented safeguarding policies and procedures for all staff and volunteers.

Safeguarding incidents

Don’t think “What if I’m wrong?” – think “What if I’m right?”

If you are in anyway concerned about a child, young person or vulnerable adult you must report it.

Is somebody in immediate danger? Call 999

If you have reason to believe a crime has been committed in a non-emergency situation, call the Police on 101.

For any other safeguarding concerns you can contact one of the agencies below, in confidence.

You will need to provide the name, address and age of the individual when contacting a safeguarding team.
