A selection of arts and crafts to help you connect with nature.
The beauty of nature is wonderful for inspiring us to make art – to paint, draw, craft, embroider, write poetry, or create stories. At Wild at Heart we also like to use natural materials to create art: from painting river rocks, or collecting pine cones and ivy to make festive table decorations, to making inks and dyes using natural pigments.
Here is a selection of creative activities for you to try out at home – remember, there is no ‘right’ way of doing art, just play about with different materials or colours or ideas that stand out to you and see where it takes you!
