Join professional wildlife photographer, Guy Badham, for a full day outdoor photography workshop at our Blacka Moor nature reserve on Sunday 4th June.
Whether you’re a keen photographer or complete beginner, Guy will be on hand to encourage, teach and inspire you throughout the day.
No fancy equipment is needed – Just bring what you normally use to take photos. It may be your phone, a basic ‘point-and-shoot’ compact, bridge camera or SLR.
Guy can help you de-mystify your new camera, giving you the confidence to use it more creatively. If you have an instruction booklet please bring that too so we can refer to it.
Don’t forget to charge-up the battery on your camera..it’s an easy thing to forget but a flat battery will spoil your day! If you have a spare please bring it.
A tripod is a matter of personal choice but if you have one please feel free to bring it. I don’t always use one, especially if I’m on a long walk but it’s a useful piece of kit.
We are going to be out all day, so please bring your own food and drink. What you bring and how much..is totally up to you!
Please wear sensible clothing, suitable for the environment in which we will be operating. Bear in mind that we may spend prolonged periods of time standing or sitting still. At those times a person’s body can cool rapidly so make sure you have a spare warm layer, and also that your outer layer is windproof/waterproof.
Don’t forget hats, gloves and suitable footwear
Please let us know if you have a medical condition that we should know about, just in case of emergency.
This event is limited to 10 places and tickets must be booked in advance. Tickets are priced at £30 per person.
As a charity your support really does make a difference. From protecting wildlife, to helping people connect with nature and each other, every penny helps, Thank you.
