Do you want to start a group to help nature in your local area? Is there a planning application or development proposal that threatens your local green space? Are you already in a community group that manages or protects special places for wildlife and looking for help or support?
We provide support to many community groups across Sheffield and Rotherham, offering advice on gardening for wildlife, guidance on land management to enhance habitats for wildlife and assistance with responding to planning applications that threaten important local places for nature.
Local groups are an external voice for the Trust and make a real difference, giving time, energy and enthusiasm to care for local places.
We are proud to work alongside local groups of dedicated wildlife and conservation enthusiasts, and grateful for their support.
If you would like to discuss forming a group in your area or are already a member of an existing group and would like more support or advice, please contact us.
If you have any concerns regarding planning or other issues affecting local places for wildlife, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0114 263 4335.
