Orienteering in Greno Woods

Greno Woods is one of our reserves covering an ancient woodland rich in wildlife and full of historic interest. Our friends at goorienteering have provided us with a number of orienteering routes to test your skills in exploration as well as show off some of the reserves highlights, click here or read on for more detail.

The woods are criss-crossed by a network of footpaths and bridleways. Revel in woodland wildflowers including bluebells, honeysuckle and common cow-wheat during spring, enjoy the ripe blackberries and bilberries in summer or find a profusion of fungi in winter. Birdwatchers will be kept busy through all seasons!

There are 3 different courses – short (v easy), medium (easy) and long (medium). There are also instruction and answer sheets. All can be downloaded for free.
