Employee Wellbeing Packages

Connect with nature to boost mental health

© Employee Wellbeing Packages
© Corporate Wellbeing

It is estimated that 17.1 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety last year, which accounts for 54% of all days lost (Labour Force Survey, 2023). However, for every £1 spent on wellbeing, a company will see an average return of £4.70 in increased productivity (Deloitte, 2024).

In 2023, 84% of employees said improving wellbeing was their top priority, with most saying their wellbeing worsened during the year. Mental health is more important than ever for individuals and companies and there is strong evidence that connecting with nature can help.
Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust’s knowledge of nature connectiveness and experience of delivering evidence based wellbeing programmes allows us to offer you and your colleagues a range of wellbeing packages to aid mental and physical health amongst you and your colleagues.

“Time spent with the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust can be the antidote to unproductive busyness, reconnecting us to what matters most, including our connection with nature.”
–Dr David Fong, Clinical Psychologist & SRWT Wellbeing Supporter.

“‘We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon last Wednesday with the Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust! The walk was planned and researched exceptionally well and the insights into the local natural spaces near our site were very well received by our team. A massive thank you from all of us at Wolffkran to the Wild Wellbeing team and I would highly encourage any Sheffield or Rotherham based company to get booked in!'”

“It was a great event, so much thought had been put into making it both useful and enjoyable. I loved the activities and found them so beneficial to my wellbeing.”

“A really enjoyable and welcoming event, which gently encouraged us to engage with nature in a playful way. I appreciated the time out of my usual working life to learn something about the Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust”

“I enjoyed the content of the walk and the various observations of nature we were able to make, including the spectacular mobbing of a buzzard by a crow, over a substantially urban environment.”
