The Living Don – Western Valleys is a three-year partnership project with Sheffield City Council (SCC). WREN have provided £238k of funding, Natural England £22,500, with SCC providing £20,000 to restore habitats and enhance other green infrastructure within the Limb, Porter, Rivelin and Loxley Valleys.
Habitats that are being restored include woodland, grassland and heathland with green infrastructure such as new footpath links created and advice to other landowners provided.
