Our Work

Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust cares for 15 nature reserves across the local area, as well as our nature-friendly farm at Ughill. We also deliver a range of engagement activities so that everyone can experience the joy of nature, from Wild Play sessions for children, to Wild at Heart’s inclusive community groups.

Our Nature Reserves

We currently care for 15 nature reserves in Sheffield and Rotherham, ranging from vast moorland areas of international importance, to small urban green spaces. These pages will help you explore each of the reserves, how to visit them and what you can expect to find on your visit.
