I have lived in Sheffield for over 45 years and have always had a deep appreciation for the natural environment that makes this region so unique.
I bring over 23 years of experience running a local charity in Sheffield, where I have developed strong governance skills, strategic planning experience, and a passion for community engagement. My work has allowed me to build diverse and trusted connections across Sheffield, including with mosques, faith-based organisations, and a wide range of community groups.
What particularly attracted me to the role of trustee at SRWT is the opportunity to support and protect our natural spaces while helping to ensure the Trust continues to engage all communities across Sheffield and Rotherham. I believe strongly in inclusion and representation, and I’m committed to supporting initiatives that promote access to nature for everyone, regardless of background or socialclass.
My lived experience, organisational leadership, and deep local roots make me eager to contribute meaningfully to SRWT’s mission.
