One of Sarah's favourite things about living in the area is the special open spaces and nature we have access to. But she is also aware that not everyone has the same opportunities to enjoy these spaces.
Newly appointed, Sarah is excited about the opportunity to become a trustee of Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust.
One of Sarah’s favourite things about living in the area is the special open spaces and nature we have access to. But she is also aware that not everyone has the same opportunities to enjoy these spaces, and that if we don’t act now to protect them and bring wildlife back they will also be lost for future generations.
To the role of trustee, Sarah brings experience of working in local government, a philanthropic foundation and now the NHS. In all of these contexts Sarah has experience of building strong cross organisational and cross sector partnerships. Sarah also helped develop a cross sector campaigning coalition to change the narrative about what shapes our health, recognising the role of access to wildlife as a key determinant of health.
Sarah currently leads NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board’s Research and Innovation portfolio, and brings to Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust experience in adopting and evaluating innovative approaches to improve outcomes, and in designing change programmes with members of the public.
