We offer one-day training sessions to help Link Workers and Social Prescribers to feel confident when promoting Green Social Prescribing opportunities to their clients or patients, or might be considering how to incorporate connection with nature into their conversations to support people. The aim is to help people to understand the Green Prescribing landscape and also to understand how they can use Nature Connectedness within their own interactions with clients.
Sessions are delivered both face to face and online, and are in a variety of venues across South Yorkshire.
The next session is on Tuesday 19th September 2023 from 10.30am – 1.00pm, at Elsecar Heritage Centre, Wath Road, Elsecar, Barnsley S74 8HJ

Topics covered:
Throughout each session we give opportunities for questions and discussion of topics. These are a great opportunity for people to talk through their ideas and test out their learning as we progress through the topics. Sometimes we find new topics to include which we build into the subsequent training sessions.
