Training and resources:
The Green Network has been supporting organisations in the delivery of Green and Blue Social Prescribing activities since 2021.
The Green Network exists to connect people together for support, sharing of resources and best practice, and to spread news of training, events and upcoming meetings. Although there is no funding currently available for new projects, there is a wealth of information to support people to learn more and connect with others around green and blue social prescribing. The Network is currently hosted by Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, as part of the South Yorkshire ‘test and learn’ site – find out more on the SYB ICS website

Upcoming training:
This training is aimed at helping Link Workers and Social Prescribers to feel confident when promoting Green Social Prescribing opportunities to their patients. The aim was to help with understanding the social prescribing landscape and to pick up tools and techniques for how they can use Nature Connectedness within their own interactions with clients. These are bookable training sessions, FREE to attend and open to anyone: see HERE for more dates and to book your place.
The next training date is TUESDAY 13th JUNE 2023 – 10.30am – 1.00pm and is being held at the Dorothy Fox Education Centre, Sheffield Botanical Gardens, Thompson Road, Broomhall, Sheffield, S11 8RB.
